摘要: Glucose has been reported to interfere in the analysis of creatinine by Jaffe method. The potential interference icodextrin and its primary metabolites (maltose, maltotriose, maltotetraose) on measurements not previously addressed. We evaluated at various concentrations using both Creatinine Plus methods. Interference was determined samples containing 0.6-20 mg/dL saline solution or plasma (n = 6), dialysate 6) spiked with icodextrin, maltose, maltotetraose up twofold level found from patients treated icodextrin. Results confirm that no occurs when either colorimetric method enzymatic levels 65 g/L 2 1 maltotetraose, representing worst-case clinical concentrations. In addition, our results comparable values can be obtained for uremic samples.
