Problemas éticos y de salud planteados por la reciente epidemia de Ébola: ¿Qué debemos aprender?

摘要: The recent Ebola epidemic that affected several countries in Africa, with very high mortality and a pandemic threat, posed problems of justice, public health, prevention, treatment research, each which has relevant ethical issues. Despite severe initial difficulties, an effective international response was achieved, whose outcome left significant teachings to be considered order deal future epidemics or pandemics. In this article, the authors analyze main faced during epidemic, including unequal distribution health resources between countries, need for collaboration, requirement review standards clinical trials emergencies, necessity organized global system prevention timely these outbreaks. Authors conclude at present time is issue without borders, insufficient healthcare some poses risks affects all confrontation threats requires solution based universal solidarity. At same time, moral duty investigate should acknowledged, seeking balance sense urgency, scientific rigor involvement local communities.
