摘要: Abstract Objectives To examine healthcare worker's perceptions, expectations, and experiences regarding how work processes, patient-related safety, care were affected when a quaternary center transitioned from one computerized provider order entry (CPOE) system to full electronic health record (EHR). Methods The I-SEE survey was administered prior 1-year after transition in systems. construct validity reliability of the assessed within current population also compared previously published results. Pre- post-implementation scale means across time periods. Results majority respondents nurses personnel working acute setting. Because confirmatory factor analysis indicated lack fit our data survey's 5-factor structure, we conducted an exploratory that resulted 7-factor structure which showed better validity. Mean scores for each attitudes expectations mostly positive score trends over or neutral. Nurses generally had less about than non-nursing respondents, although difference diminished implementation. Conclusions Findings demonstrate responding staff transitioning CPOE (EHR) understood goals doing so, with overall improved ratings time. In addition, survey, modified based on population, useful assessing patient safety related during EHR.
