摘要: Objective: Since it is important to develop strategies for the successful implementation of electronic clinical information systems, aim this study explore where, and what extent, users’ attitudes toward former system that being replaced may vary. Methods: A cross-sectional survey 346 nurses physicians practicing in two Canadian teaching hospitals resulted a total response rate 63%. User were measured three dimensions: a) user satisfaction with system’s quality attributes, b) perceived usefulness, c) impact on care patient safety. The current (the one replaced) was analyzed as dual composed both paper-based records. Results: results demonstrate wide variation opinions, ranging from 4.2 7.7 10-point disagree-agree, Likert scale. attributes varied by record type, differences systematically favor component, which received higher scores. also highlighted large group. Physicians rated formats differently. more satisfied record. Multivariate regression analyses revealed strong interdependencies among dimensions attitudes, extent usefulness strongly correlated outcomes correlated, although less strongly, dimensions. Conclusion: Understanding use, its paper aspects, crucial developing systems.
