Impact and User Satisfaction of a Clinical Information Portal Embedded in an Electronic Health Record

摘要: In 2008, a clinical information tool was developed and embedded in the electronic health record system of an academic medical center. 2009, initial tool, Clinical-e, superseded by portal called Clinical Focus, with single search box enabling federated selected online resources. To measure usefulness impact survey used to gather feedback about users' experience this resource. The determined what type clinicians were using assessed user satisfaction perceived on patient care decision making. Initial results suggest majority respondents found Focus easy navigate, content read, retrieved relevant complete. would recommend their colleagues. Results indicate that is promising area for future development.
