摘要: Abstract Background A remuneration system greatly influences the quality of nursing care and services. Objective The goal this study was to identify effects a on nurses’ performance. Design This research used literature review design involved analysis 25 articles published in Cumulative Index Nursing Allied Health Literature (CINAHL), MEDLINE, EMBASE, PsycINFO, Global databases. limited English between August 2006 2015. Results results indicate that improvement systems has positive consequences terms performance subsequent healthcare well-managed potential increase motivation, productivity, satisfaction, even improve retention. In contrast, poorly managed low contributes shortage nurses due high turnover rates. Conclusions Adequate been shown and, consequently, healthcare. provides scientific evidence for decision-makers consider implementation include credentialing, re-credentialing, career ladders. Future studies are suggested investigate development nurses.
