摘要: This paper is concerned with a study of internal strain measurement by fiber Bragg grating sensors (FBGSs) embedded inside textile composites. First, on the basis principle FBGSs, effects transverse and temperature results are discussed. A composite model comprising an optical fiber, coating resin was developed to determine effectiveness sensor analyzing field system under uniform thermal load. Factors influencing were considered including elastic modulus Poisson's ratio material, tension stiffness length host. Secondly, experimental investigation carried out reliability FBGSs in composites different interfaces fiber/coating coating/resin two configurations, that is, single-ended dual-ended. The errors induced deviation position direction estimated. Finally, Volanthen's low-coherence technique applied measure distribution along which into composite.
