摘要: Twenty species of rotifers the genus Lecane were found in inland fresh and brackish waterbodies Balearic archipelago L. margalefi n. sp. has been a semi-arid area Majorca island, it is probably endemic. It an illoricate related to luna group by its foot morphology, but similar shape size boorali Koste & Shiel. The taxonomy some other genus, recorded from archipelago, discussed (L. bifurca (Bryce), grandis (Murray), lamellata (Daday), latissima Yamamoto, ohioensis (Herrick), punctata pyriformis (Daday)).
