摘要: The interest for renewable energy sources has increased significantly due to environmental issues and fossil fuels elevated cost. Due this, wind gained a lot of investments from all over the world. However, speed's uncertain behavior it is difficult obtain good quality power, since speed fluctuations reflect on voltage active power output electric machine connected turbine. This brings great challenges systems engineering, new control schemes must be adopted in order deal with those techniques developed improve plant's performance. Not only that, but use induction generators presents safety possible self-excitation. article aims demonstrate state-of-the-art technologies used reliability. A storage technique focused improving reliability availabity also smoothening variations presented. static compensator (STATCOM) harmonic current injection, reactive compensation variation discussed. usage conversion system presented, this fault tolerance. lack issue treated, by investigating Dynamic Voltage Restorer distribution grid turbine driving generator. brief insight future integration Plug Hybrid Electrical Vehicles provided. At last overview topics covered presented conclusions are made.
