摘要: Devices in periodically poled glass must have a large periodic variation of the built-in field. We show that can be severely degraded by charge dynamics taking place at external (glass-air) interface or internal (glass-glass) interfaces if imperfections. The problem solved poling with electrodes are buried inside glass, many cases improving efficiency dramatically. Internal addressed proper choice waveguide design and processing. Without device, one reveal existence imperfect use electric field induced second-harmonic generation.
