摘要: Textiles constitute an important part of human beings everyday life. Environmentalists have been calling forth industries to incorporate sustainability principles into their production processes. In comparison with other industries, textile industry is considered be major contributor towards environmental pollution and subject creating various ecological (water body pollution, waste generation, air pollution) issues throughout supply chain from fibre till fabric finishing. This paper reviews the existing literature related surrounding across globe. The authors classify discuss drivers, barriers, responses firms in favour sustainability. Despite a growing research this area, we identify significant gaps special reference managerial approaches being used for incorporating While it very understand motivations that drive barriers implementation, attention also drawn aspects pertaining perception new technologies article provides future opportunities form specific questions strengthen field.
