摘要: Abstract Okra leaf curl disease (OLCD) is the most important viral of okra in West Africa. In this study, a complex begomoviruses and associated DNA satellites were identified symptomatic plants from southwestern Cameroon. Sequence analyses showed that two (Lik1 Njo5) infected with begomovirus being recombinant cotton Gezira virus (CLCuGeV) yellow crinkle (OYCrV). The genome shared highest nucleotide identity isolates CLCuGeV at 87.8% therefore considered to be member new species, Cameroon (OLCuCMV). One plant (Mue5) was by 95.8% identy CLCuGeV, while Lik1, Mue1 Njo5, showing 93.7% OYCrV. comparisons phylogenetic suggest these represent Cameroonian strains OYCrV (CLCuGeV-CM OYCrV-CM). Mixed infection OLCuCMV OYCrV-CM found plants. A betasatellite divergent alphasatellites also begomoviruses. as (CLCuGeB) 93.3% other African CLCuGeB. alphasatellites, herein named Alpha-1 Alpha-2, 97.3% 95.2% identity, respectively, alphasatellite (CLCuGeA) Burkina Faso (OLCuBFA). These collective results emphasize extent diversity among okra-infecting begomovirus–satellite complexes western
