摘要: This paper presents a list of current and future challenges for Information technology in Diabetes Mellitus management. Three main research areas are identified: supporting patients, health care providers, including specialists, GPs case managers finally organizations policy makers. The new technological advances context awareness, user modelling, data mining integrated information systems enable the design implementation decision support strategies which may be effective improving management prevention chronic diseases general particular.
