摘要: One of the largest animal welfare problems in modern pig production is tail biting. This abnormal behaviour compromises well-being animals, can seriously impair health and cause considerable economic losses. Tail biting has a multifactorial origin occurs mainly fattening pigs. High stocking densities, poor environment bad air quality are seen as important factors. However, it presumed that plurality internal external motivators intensive trigger this which not reported sounders wild boars. The aim review to summarize causes effects pigs present management strategies likely reduce its incidence.
