摘要: Two-dimensional micro-immunoprecipitation is equivalent to the Ouchter- lony test used on macro-scale. The theoretical basis of immunoprecipitation and descriptions current macro procedures may be obtained from appropriate text books (e.g. Stafseth, Stockton Newman, 1956; Kabat Mayer, 1961; Campbell et al, 1963; Ackroyd, 1964; Steffen, 1968; Williams Chase, 1967, 1968, 1971). micro-method has advantage that it can performed with extremely small quantities material and, because very short diffusion distances, result rapidly. For example, macro-scale takes 24 48 hrs. whereas several minutes a few hours.
