摘要: Microdroplets in microfluidics offer a great number of opportunities chemical and biological research. They provide compartment which species or reactions can be isolated, they are monodisperse therefore suitable for quantitative studies, the possibility to work with extremely small volumes, single cells, molecules, high-throughput experiments. The aim this Review is show importance these features enabling new experiments biology chemistry. recent advances device fabrication highlighted as remaining technological challenges. Examples presented how compartmentalization, monodispersity, single-molecule sensitivity, high throughput have been exploited that would difficult outside platform.
