摘要: Low-density, porous, millimeter-size poly (divinylbenzene) (PDVB) shells were produced by the use of a microfluidic device under ultraviolet (UV) irradiation at ambient temperature. We studied effects monomer concentrations and illumination times on density, shrinkage, surface area, porosity characteristics, compression properties PDVB shells. It was found that actual densities, shrinkages, areas varied from 70 to 210 mg/cm3, 8.5 15.2 %, 457 848 m2/g, respectively, with changes times. The analytic results nitrogen adsorption/desorption isotherms indicated mesoporous structures affected Moreover, photopolymerization DVB monomers essentially solvent polymerization. phase separation process induced formation pore structures. Different morphologies inwall outwall obtained. Furthermore, reasonable growth mechanism proposed.
