摘要: Abstract Advances in the medical treatment of cancer have increased number survivors, particularly among older adults, who now represent majority these. Survivorship care plans (SCPs) are documents that patients receive summarising their care, usually at end but preferably from initial diagnosis. These may increase patient satisfaction and an opportunity to initiate preventative strategies address future needs. Advance planning (ACP), incorporating advance healthcare decision-making, including formal written directives, increases end-of-life care. This paper systematically reviews evaluations ACP within SCPs (≥65 years) survivors. No studies meeting inclusion criteria were identified by search conducted PubMed/MEDLINE Cochrane databases. One examined survivors’ mainly positive views ACP. Another discussed use a SCP supported ‘distress inventory’ included directive (living will) as issue, though no evaluation was reported. Although is important for study found evaluated its role survivorship planning. Despite risk recurrence potential morbidity mortality, especially not yet feature SCPs.
