摘要: Defective deep placentation is characterised by defective remodelling of the utero-placental arteries. Under certain conditions, it also presence arterial lesions, such as acute atherosis and persistence endovascular trophoblast. The condition has been associated with a spectrum complications during pregnancy, including pre-eclampsia, intrauterine growth restriction, pre-term birth, premature rupture membranes, late sporadic miscarriage abruptio placentae. Criteria are proposed for classification into three types based on degree restriction obstructive lesions in myometrial segment spiral Although underlying mechanisms not understood, evidence emerging that origin may lie primary defect trophoblast, but abnormalities endometrium inner myometrium before or early stages placentation.
