摘要: AbstractThe present study examined the effects of steroids and lubricants on electrical impedance tissue response following cochlear implantation in animal models. Guinea pigs were implanted either no treatment, or intrascalar injection with dexamethasone, triamcinolone, sodium hyaluronate saline. Cats triamcinolone a mixture hyaluronate. In guinea pigs, changes intracochlear less for saline groups. cats, dexamethasone group increased similar to non-treated cats. Impedance treated cats remained low about two months after implantation, before increasing levels other Significant fibrous growth was observed histologically. The results indicate that single application may postp...
