摘要: Transcription activator-like effector nucleases (TALENs) and clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats (CRISPR)/CRISPR-associated (Cas) systems have emerged as powerful tools for genome editing in a variety of species. Here, we report, the first time, targeted mutagenesis Zea mays using TALENs CRISPR/Cas system. We designed five targeting 4 genes, namely ZmPDS, ZmIPK1A, ZmIPK, ZmMRP4, obtained efficiencies up to 23.1% protoplasts, about 13.3% 39.1% transgenic plants were somatic mutations. Also, constructed two gRNAs ZmIPK gene maize at frequencies 16.4% 19.1%, respectively. In addition, system induced mutations Z. protoplasts with (13.1%) similar those (9.1%). Our results show that both can be used modification maize.
