the translation analysis of Pun in the film entitled Madagascar

摘要: ABSTRACT This study is focused the analysis on types of pun, of translation techniques in translating and accuracy. The purposes this were to describe pun found movie to discover translation employed by translator quality the translation terms accuracy pun. This was a descriptive qualitative research where researcher only described all facts existed data. The data taken from film entitled Madagascar means purposive sampling. There 21 applied in research. In order obtain reliable result translation, questionnaires distributed three raters define the translation. The are (3). They are: translated into non (16 data), ST copied TT (2 data), rendered with other rhetorical device (1 datum). results of the shows that there 15.79 % accurate and there 84.21 less translation. figure that the translations mostly not so accurate. The recommended enhance his/her knowledge on wordplay produce Since focus study is at level accuracy, expected students or researchers would like related topic such as the readability acceptability.
