摘要: Abstract Background Previous studies have revealed that heterotrimeric G protein is composed of a Gα-subunit and Gβγ-dimer correlated with c-Src AKT activities. Our recent study showed reduced γ2 subunit (Gng2/GNG2) expression levels in malignant melanoma cells compared those benign melanocytic both mice humans. At present, however, there no evidence showing an effect Gng2/GNG2 alone on cancer biology. Objective The purpose this was to examine the biological significance GNG2 human cells. Methods Levels proliferation activities signal transduction molecules were examined GNG2-overexpressed -depleted Results Proliferation SK-Mel28 suppressed decreased c-SRC increased p21 Cip/WAF1 level vitro . In contrast, GNG2-depleted A375P enhanced vivo experiment, mean tumor size less than 1/45th control nude at 95 days after inoculation. Conclusion We demonstrated for first time inhibits , suggesting could be novel molecular target therapy.
