摘要: The GTPase-activating protein RLIP76 is overexpressed in and correlates with the pathological grade of many malignant tumor cells. But potential correlation between clinical outcomes patients meningioma remains unknown. In this study, we examined expression correlated to patient outcome. tissues was immunohistochemistry, quantitative reverse-transcription polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR) Western-blot. Immunohistochemistry showed an increased immunostaining score anaplastic atypical meningiomas versus classical meningiomas. Statistical analyses revealed that positively for Ki-67, a nuclear highly expressed proliferating cells(r=0.29, p=0.034 by Spearman's coefficient). Clinicopathological evaluation suggested be associated recurrence(P<0.05). Univariate Cox analysis indicated independent prognostic factor recurrence. Furthermore, human cell lines IOMM-Lee CH157-MN stably transfected short hairpin RNA (siRNA) targeting were then vitro growth assays, apoptosis assays. knockdown cells inhibited proliferation induced apoptosis. Western blot underexpressing exhibited decreased B-cell lymphoma-2(Bcl-2) but effector caspase-3 expression. These findings demonstrate high poor outcome may provide new gene therapy approach
