摘要: Specimens of encapsulated hepatocellular carcinoma from 48 patients who had received no previous treatment and six previously treated by hepatic arterial interruption embolization or ligation were obtained resection examined for incidence extent necrosis the tumor. Among specimens non-pre-treated patients, 25 tumors smaller than 5 cm showed notable necrosis; 23 remaining tumors--which larger cm--12 (52%) spontaneous central necrosis. The rate tumor ranged 10% to 40%. In contrast, in pretreated cases, more 60% found be necrotic. Two completely necrotized embolization. findings indicated significance dearterialization management carcinoma. Daughter nodules, however, have escaped
