摘要: Acute kidney injury is a serious global health problem and determinant of morbidity mortality. Recent advancements in the field stem cell research raise hopes for cell-based regenerative approaches to treat acute diseases. In this review, authors summarized latest advances adult resident renal progenitor cells (ARPCs) on repair, role ARPCs tubular regeneration after injury, current understanding mechanisms related ARPC activation modulation, as well challenges that remain be faced.
