Raman study of phonon modes in ErVO4 single crystals

摘要: The phonon modes of a pure ErVO4 crystal were determined at room temperature using Raman scattering methods, and the observed frequencies assigned according to group theory in terms internal VO43− ions external Er(VO4) lattice. assignments match well with overall systematics rare-earth orthovanadate series, results presented here reinforce general trend bonding strength zircon series RVO4, RAsO4, RPO4 materials.
