摘要: Abstract Ca3La(VO4)3:RE3+ (=Eu3+, Dy3+) powder phosphors have been synthesized by a chemical co-precipitation method. From the measured emission profiles, we noticed that Eu3+ phosphor shows five transitions of 5D0 → 7F0,1,2,3,4 and Dy3+ exhibits two prominent emissions 4F9/2 → 6H13/2,15/2 along with weak red emission. Excitation spectra these commonly show an intense broad excitation band in wavelength region 250–350 nm which is charge transfer (CTB) aroused due to interaction between RE3+–O2− V–O bonds. Besides explaining CTB, photoluminescence properties were investigated under near-UV/blue light wavelengths. For XRD, SEM FTIR features also recorded explore their structural details.
