摘要: Background: Adverse drug events (ADEs) are an important problem in hospital practice. Computerized physician order entry (CPOE) and clinical decision support systems (CDSS) useful tools the prevention of ADEs. In Netherlands there some basic CDSS within CPOE systems, but is not much experience with sophisticated systems. We have recently developed a more advanced CDSS, computerized adverse event alerting system (ADEAS).
