摘要: The objective of the present investigation was to evaluate what extent mouthrinses containing triclosan and chlorhexidine may modify amount de novo plaque that forms on tooth surfaces adjacent healthy inflamed gingival units. 10 volunteers were recruited. On day 0, crevicular fluid (GCF) obtained at predetermined sites gingivitis (GI) assessed. A careful oral prophylaxis given each who subsequently abstained from all mechanical control measures for following 18 days. During first 4 days (rinse phase I), they rinsed with either 0.12% chlorhexidine, 0.06% or placebo solution. Clinical examinations (GCF, GI) repeated formed determined 4, 7 14. 14, participants received a new professional cleaning after which rinse II initiated. this 2nd phase, same mouthwash preparation in manner as during I. 18. Each participant comprehensive prophylaxisis instructed perform meticulous weeks. experimental period then total 3 periods until subjects had different preparations. results demonstrated (i) significantly more than units (ii) pre-existing increased preparations triclosan.
