摘要: The objective of the present investigation was to evaluate what extent mouthrinses containing triclosan and chlorhexidine may modify amount de novo plaque that forms on tooth surfaces adjacent healthy inflamed gingival units. 10 volunteers were recruited. On day 0, crevicular fluid (GCF) obtained at predetermined sites gingivitis (GI) assessed. A careful oral prophylaxis given each who subsequently abstained from all mechanical control measures for following 18 days. During first 4 days (rinse phase I), they rinsed with either 0.12% chlorhexidine, 0.06% or placebo solution.
