摘要: The aim of the present study was to investigate association between positron emission tomography (PET) parameters and peripheral inflammatory markers, assess their prognostic value in nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC). A total 121 patients with non-disseminated NPC were recruited. Pretreatment maximum standardized uptake values (SUVmax) PET factors (leukocyte, neutrophil monocyte counts) recorded. Kaplan-Meier multivariate analyses used identify predictors for progression-free survival (PFS), overall (OS), distant metastasis-free (DMFS) locoregional recurrence-free (LRFS). results revealed that SUVmax at primary tumor positively correlated leukocytes (P=0.025), neutrophils (P=0.009) monocytes (P=0.043). regional lymph nodes (SUVmax-N) significantly associated (P=0.024). analysis demonstrated SUVmax-N (>10.15) predicted PFS (P=0.004) DMFS (P=0.003). In addition, (>5.18) (P=0.001), (P=0.013) LRFS (P 10.15 or >5.18. conclusion, may be cancer-associated inflammation. independent indicators DMFS. Combined assessment lead refinement risk stratification NPC.
