摘要: Abstract Background : No immunohistologic techniques are currently available to demonstrate clon-ality of T-cell lymphomas. Monoclonal antibodies the variable region receptor (TCR) have been produced that identify minor populations normal peripheral blood T lymphocytes. Objective We investigated expression TCR V-region genes in cutaneous lymphomas determine whether immunostaining with these may be a simple method detect clonal proliferations and help distinguish benign lymphoid infiltrates from malignant lymphoma. Methods Cutaneous samples were obtained 18 (14 mycosis fungoides, 1 Sezary syndrome, 2 pleomorphic lymphoma, large cell anaplastic lymphoma) 8 infiltrates. Frozen sections incubated monoclonal stained by alkaline phosphatase-antialkaline phosphatase technique. Staining was performed panel 7 anti-TCR antibodies, 6 markers, anti- β chain antibody, δ antibody. Results Clonality could demonstrated observed strictly intraepidermal localization proliferation one case early-stage fungoides. Conclusion Anti-TCR epidermotropic clone early However, stains only minority The usefulness as clonotypic marker needs reevaluated when larger becomes available.
