摘要: Changes in NO activity may play an important role the early increase microvascular flow that has been implicated pathogenesis of diabetic microangiopathy. We assessed, situ spinotrapezius muscle preparation 6 weeks' streptozotocin-diabetic rats (n = 6) and agematched controls 8), basal inside diameters A2–A4 arterioles reactivity to topically applied acetylcholine nitroprusside, before after NG-nitro-L-arginine. In rats, cholinergic vasodilatation was intact. Basal diameter A3 A4 significantly higher rats. The increased partially due contribution diameter. response nitroprusside impaired A2, but not arterioles. Thus, this study shows sensitivity are altered weeks streptozotocin-induced diabetes. These changes anatomically specific and, for arterioles, depend on their position within vascular tree.
