摘要: We performed in silico PCR analyses utilizing complete mitochondrial (mtDNA) genome sequences of faba bean (Vicia faba) and two related species, Vigna angularis Vigna radiata, currently available GenBank, to infer whether 15 published universal primer pairs for amplification all 14 cis-spliced introns genes NADH subunits (nad genes) are suitable V. and species. Then, we tested via reactions whether seven out 15 would generate products further manipulation in 16 genotypes representing botanical varieties this species (major, minor, equina subsp. paucijuga) various levels improvement (traditional improved cultivars) originating from Europe, Africa, Asia south America. provide new primers nad1 intron 2/3 faba, demonstrate intraspecific variability primary nucleotide at locus. Based on outcomes both silico predictions amplification, report a set for five nad that promising molecular tools future phylogeographic other studies species which unambiguous data wild ancestors, centre origin domestication are lacking.
