摘要: Magnetization transfer contrast (MTC) experiments using off-resonance irradiation have been performed with an agar gel model by systematically varying offset frequency, amplitude of the RF and concentration. The experimental results are shown to be quantitatively modelled a two-pool system consisting liquid pool Lorentzian line shape small semisolid Gaussian lineshape. fitted yields physically realistic fundamental parameters T2 13 microseconds. Further analysis shows that MTC experiment had significant limitations in its ability saturate without directly affecting component.
