摘要: Abstract This study examined the wear characteristics of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) reinforced with talc particles. Analysis variance (ANOVA) was used to construct empirical models show connection between control factors (filler loading, load and sliding speed) responses (wear rate average coefficient friction (COF)) UHMWPE. Response Surface Methodology (RSM) employed project optimization variables in order reduce It discovered that COF UHMWPE could be minimized by inclusion talc. The SEM analyses worn surfaces transfer films indicated degree on surface reduced.
