摘要: The protocol used in most two-stage carcinogenesis studies mouse skin was first described by Mottram1 and forms the basis of operational criteria defining a promoter. Mottram elicited tumors treating backs mice with single subcarcinogenic dose polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAH) benzo(a)pyrene [B(a)P], followed repeated applications croton oil, obtained from seeds Crown tiglium. Subsequently, active tumor-promoting component oil identified as phorbol diester, 12-O-tetradecanoyl-phorbol-13-acetate (TPA),2–5 today it is frequently promoter for mechanistic studies.
