摘要: The prevalence of snacking and the number snacks consumed per day have increased in past three decades United States. These trends been implicated incidence overweight/obesity. However, establishment a quantitative relationship has hampered by methodological issues. This chapter begins with discussion strengths limitations various definitions snacking. It then summarizes current how it plays role human energy balance acutely body weight over longer term. Although not consistent, literature supports view that is positively related to weight, especially when unplanned contains energy-yielding beverages. concludes consideration management can be incorporated healthy diet.
