摘要: Abstract The prevalence of Echinococcus granulosus in Cypriot dogs during the first dog-test period anti-echinococcosis campaign (June–December, 1972)_was described and analyzed by contingency table methods stepwise multiple regression. Mean canine E. rates, per person, infected sheep goats dog were found to be higher Turkish villages than Greek villages. It was also observed that campaign, only one 285 rural village slaughterhouses located a village. Results step-wise regression analysis showed animal husbandry, canine, ethnic economic variables accounted for 23% variation initial rates. effects multicollinearity measurement error on results these analyses deficiencies data discussed.
