摘要: The purpose of the study was to evaluate adaptation and micro-structure Co-Cr alloy maxillary complete denture base plates fabricated by selective laser melting (SLM) technique. Twenty pairs edentulous casts were randomly evenly divided into two groups, manufacturing conducted either SLM technique or conventional method. base-cast sets transversally sectioned three sections at distal canines, mesial first molars posterior palatal zone. gap between metal cast measured in these with a stereoscopic microscope, data analysed using t tests. A total five specimens 5 mm diameter traditional casting technology. scanning electron microscope (SEM) used differences microstructure specimens. There no statistical difference all four groups (P > 0.05). At region clearance value for group larger than that method (P 0.05). has denser behaviour less defect alloy. showed initial feasibility manufacture dental bases dentures, but large sample studies are needed prove its reliability clinical applications. mechanical properties frameworks prepared indicate dentures appropriate use.
