摘要: Abstract. In-situ measurements of 7 volatile hydrocarbons, CxHy, and 3 chlorinated organic compounds, CxHyClz, were performed at Jungfraujoch (Switzerland) during eight years (2000–2007). The analysis 4-h resolved non-methane compounds (NMVOCs) was achieved by using gas-chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry (GC-MS). Variabilities in the NMVOC time series dataset modeled factor (positive matrix factorization, PMF). Four factors defined solution space could be related to sources atmospheric processes. In order facilitate interpretations retrieved contributions compared independent measurements, such as trace gases (NOx, CO, CH4) back trajectories. most dominant (accounting on average for ~42% total mixing ratio considered NMVOCs) found active winter, co-varying CO CH4 aged combustive emissions well natural gas distribution. other three represent both industrial evaporative sources. Trajectory statistics suggest that influential anthropogenic are located Eastern Europe, but Po Valley has been identified a potential source region specific well. Aging arriving NMVOCs, derived limitations methods discussed. This is first report PMF application data from background mountain site.
