摘要: Hydrothermal reactions of 2-sulfoterephthalic acid (H3STP) with copper chloride and 2,2′-bipyridine (bpy) resulted in two new metal carboxylate-sulfonate coordination polymers, namely, [Cu(bpy)]3(STP)2·3H2O 1, [Cu(bpy)(H2O)Cu(bpy)](OH)(STP) 2. The compounds have been characterized structurally using single-crystal diffraction, elemental analysis, FT-IR spectrum, TG analysis. In compound the polyhedrons are linked via edge-sharing or corners-sharing mode to lead trinuclear cluster units. Interaction units through bridging ligands results a grid sheets (44.62) topology. 2, octahedrons [CuO4N2] [CuO3N2] joined by common vertices leading dimeric [Cu2O6N4], which bridged STP form 2D framework well-proportioned, rectangular-shaped cavities 63 Two novel carboxyalte-sulfonates reported. 1and dinuclear grids different topology, 44.62 for 1 respectively.
