摘要: As far as we know, humanity is alone in the Universe: there no definite evidence for existence of extraterrestrial life, let civilizations (ETCs) capable communicating or travelling over interstellar distances. Yet popular speculation about ETCs abounds, including reports alien visitations either now past. But a middle way. It possible to put limits on varying capabilities, within arbitrary distances from Solar System, and conceive real-world strategies whereby might communicate with ETCs, they us.
