摘要: This paper discusses research findings into a study of UK student learning on international social work placements in Malaysia col laboration with two Malaysian universities: Universiti Sains and Universiti Sarawak. The discussion focuses those taking place children’s services: residential care community - based support programmes. aim the study was to explore how social students adapt unfamiliar situations new cultural contexts goal increasing competence. Data were drawn from formal but anonymised exercises as non-assessed requirement this particular placement.
