Illicit substance use and intimate partner violence among men in batterers' intervention.

摘要: This study investigated the effects of illicit substance use and alcohol on occurrence violence among men in batterers' intervention their female partners. Results showed that over half batterers reported using substances past year, one third partners were to have used 1 or more year. Relative non-substance users, users scored significantly higher all measures perpetration receipt intimate partner after controlling for use. also uniquely predicted specific forms victimization. The results highlight need interventions tailored address concurrently.
