摘要: Although substance abuse is frequently encountered in men receiving services violence treatment settings, systematic study of these 'dual-problem' has lagged. This had two main objectives: (1) the characterization psychoactive disorders a naturalistic sample domestic treatment; and (2) clarification role on sociodemographic, personality, psychosocial, characteristics dual-problem men. Fifty-three adult who were attending recruited. They administered Addiction Severity Index, Conflicts Tactics Scale, Structured Clinical Diagnostic Interview, 16PF Symptoms Checklist-90. Of former, majority was diagnosed as multiply dependent alcohol other drugs. As severity increased, so too did dangerousness frequency abusive behaviors. Moreover, reported more hostility, apprehension, frustration suspiciousness past arrests than their violence-only cohorts well history multiple (unsuccessful) treatments for abuse.
