摘要: The immune system is one of the most intricate all bodily systems, paralleling in many respects endocrine terms multiplicity functions required it for maintaining homeostasis and integrity each individual’s health. Both systems exert control over discrete at great distances within body by virtue circulating components capable performing their role(s) sites quite removed from point origin, this sense they display a level versatility not found other multicellular organ systems. They differ, however, important respect: encompasses several distinct organs endowed with specific, limited, functional capabilities; comprised distinctive cell types architecture, complexity itself stems communications network existing among these (and respective target tissues) mediated large part hormonal products generally unique to them. In contrast, consists relatively few organs— i.e. thymus, spleen, bone marrow lymph nodes— which are composed types. Although true that there numerous nodes throughout body, structured much same manner as rest appear owe strategic nature different locations more so than any differences general function.
