摘要: Ticks were collected from ruminants in various areas of Sudan 1998 and 2000. Primer pairs rickettsial citrate synthase gene (gltA) a spotted fever group (SFG) 190-kDa surface antigen (rompA), respectively, used for identification. Polymerase chain reaction (PCR)-positive products DNA sequencing. The gltA was detected 55% the ticks examined (57/104). Among 57 studied, 19 positive rompA gene. Thus, 18% found to be infected with SFG rickettsiae. nucleotide sequences amplified fragment Hyalomma spp. Amblyomma similar those Rickettsia aeschlimannii africae, respectively. In this study, we succeeded detecting rickettsiae ticks, established that there at least two species field Sudan.
