摘要: OBJECTIVE To investigate the role of tumour proliferation and p53 expression as a marker survival in patients with urinary bladder cancer who undergo radical cystectomy. PATIENTS AND METHODS Samples were obtained from 31 (29 men two women, mean age 66.0 years, range 46-80) transitional cell carcinoma underwent The formalin-fixed cystectomy specimens stained immunohistochemically for Ki-67 antigen protein using MIB1 antibodies, respectively, results correlated grade, stages prognosis. RESULTS index was significantly greater high-grade tumours those overexpressing (> 20% positive nuclei). Patients whose samples had high 32%) worse prognosis than lower (P < 0.01). There similar correlation between high-risk (grade 3 pT3-4; P 0.05). Although associations stage not statistically significant, overexpressed rate No having low (n = 14) died during follow-up. CONCLUSION These suggest that immunohistochemical analyses are useful prognostic indicators cystectomy; these markers particularly important pT3-4) patients.
