摘要: Background: Biophysical measures to assess that skin water includes stratum corneum hydration via capacitance (SC), dermal tissue dielectric constant (TDC), and transepidermal loss (TEWL). Since differs among anatomical sites depth we sought determine the site variability of these their relationships. Methods: Measurements were done at 17 from forehead foot in 32 supine healthy women. included SC 1.25 MHz, TDC 300 MHz depths 0.5, 1.5, 2.5 mm TEWL. Results: Tissue decreased with increasing forehead, forearm, calf; increased palm, thenar eminence great toe; was independent cheek, hand dorsum, thumb pulp, dorsum. correlated most depths. TEWL only calf eminence. Conclusions: Results establish parameter ranges for each measure, show values do not necessarily change depth, a significant correlation between sites. These correlations suggest but is directly linked levels normal skin.
